Late Summer at the Arboretum is one of the most beautiful times of year. Blooming are the Water-lilies, hibiscus, crapemyrtles, conifers, boxwood, herbs, annuals, sweet pepperbush, pepper collection, meadow and prairie wildflowers, cardinal-flower, plum-leaf azalea, hostas, and hydrangeas.

We loved our wedding at the National Arboretum and could not have picked a more perfect setting for our late summer celebration. With the expansive nature of the Arboretum, we were able to have all of our wedding day events in one place, moving from the Meadow (ceremony), to the Herb Garden (cocktail hour), to the al fresco Water Garden (reception). Working with MTG Hospitality made the process super smooth and Natalie was such a pleasure to work with, always very responsive and helpful, from our initial venue visit, to the walkthrough, and the big day. The Arboretum is truly a gem of an outdoor space, with the convenience of being right in Washington, DC. We would pick this venue again in a heartbeat!
